Paesaggi Urbani

Series of 36 (ongoing)

The city reveals itself as a space of introspection. Far from noise and daily motion, these photographs seek presence within absence, voice within silence, and form within light. The choice of black and white becomes a language of subtraction: by removing color, the artist restores the city to its essence - made of contrast, shadow, and geometry. Each image becomes a visual pause, a fragment of contemplation where the gaze comes to rest and listen. This is not an urban analysis, but a collection of private visions - suspended moments in which the ordinary transforms into an inner landscape. Buildings, streets, and surfaces - stripped of their own function take on a poetic, almost tactile presence. "Paesaggi Urbani" invites us to look at the city not as a backdrop, but as a living body, capable of holding silences, memories, and absences. It is an invitation to slow the gaze, to rediscover within the urban fabric the possibility of a silent and profound emotion.
