“Italian Eyes - Italian fashion photographs from 1951 to today”
Rotonda della Besana, Milan, Italy
24 - 27 February 2005
A collective exhibition and a book. Fashion photography has a decisive influence in all fields of communication and is now fully considered an art form. The project does not proceed catalogically and chronologically but divides the images by themes, highlighting a narrative path that is very useful for understanding the Italian genius loci.
The installation stages at the center of the Rotonda di via Besana a kind of architecture/archive, a utopian machine capable of preserving and processing the photographic materials that produced the book.
